Gender equality certification
Gender equality certification was introduced in Italy through the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Guidelines and represents a significant step towards gender equality in public and private organizations.
This certification is essential for promoting a corporate culture that is inclusive and respectful of gender diversity, through a structured and measurable approach.
The UNI/PdR 125:2022 Guidelines outline a series of indicators which are divided into six fundamental areas:
01. Corporate culture and strategy: Evaluation of the company's commitment to promoting gender equality at all levels.
02. Governance and management: Analysis of the composition of decision-making bodies and presence of policies that guarantee fairness in career opportunities.
03. HR processes (hiring, career, remuneration): Monitoring of hiring, promotion and remuneration policies processes to identify and correct any gender disparities.
04. Work-life balance: Measuring work-life balance policies, such as flexible working and parental leave.
05. Prevention and fight against discrimination: Implementation of measures against harassment, gender discrimination and violence in the workplace.
06. Monitoring and reporting: monitoring of the results achieved and transparent reporting to ensure continuous improvement.

The path to gender equality
With the aim of carrying out its mission as best as possible and in line with the strategic vision, PCA has decided to adopt a Management System for Gender Equality (SGPG) compliant with UNI/PdR125:2022, as a valid tool to ensure gender equality and the professional growth of women, enhancing inclusive culture and the activation of processes capable of developing female empowerment, as well as the complete rejection of any form of physical, verbal, digital abuse (harassment) in places of Work.
